BitMEX Exchange Among Early Adopters of Chainlink’s 24/5 Equity Feeds, Bridging Wall Street to DeFi
Chainlink has launched 24/5 U.S. Equities Streams, a new service delivering near-continuous access to stock and ETF pricing data for blockchain platforms. The feeds cover pre-market, regular trading hours, after-hours, and overnight sessions, addressing a critical infrastructure gap in decentralized finance.
The $80 trillion U.S. equities market has historically been difficult to integrate into 24/7 blockchain ecosystems. Chainlink's solution provides not just prices but also bid-ask spreads, volume metrics, and market status indicators—features designed to mitigate risk during volatile periods.
Early adopters include trading platforms Lighter, BitMEX, and ApeX. These feeds enable novel on-chain financial products like stock-linked perpetuals, synthetic equities, and tokenized asset markets, potentially unlocking trillions in traditional market liquidity for DeFi applications.
